Cedar Hill State Park - 2022

It's impossible for me to go on a hike and not stop to take a picture every 2 minutes.

Cedar Hill State Park is the first state park I visited in Texas. It's also the most convenient for me since it's right in between Fort Worth and Dallas - not a far drive like the other state parks.

While most of DFW is all concrete and buildings, this was a nice escape with lots of greenery and wild flowers. Also, it's gorgeous!

I liked how the photos from Cedar Hill State Park capture quiet outdoor moments and natural scenery without making the trip feel overly staged. During a landscape photography assignment, I needed help with python assignment while learning how image processing tools organize and edit outdoor shots. The article reminded me that nature photography takes patience, timing, and observation more than expensive equipment. Simple outdoor experiences often create the most meaningful creative inspiration.

The park experience described here felt refreshing, especially the calm atmosphere and sense of exploration. It reminded me of taking short breaks during stressful academic periods just to reset mentally. I remember thinking about whether I should Take my Criminology class for me during one of those overwhelming weeks. Nature has a way of putting academic pressure into perspective when everything feels too heavy.
